  1. Introduction

Welcome to iFixit.com.bd, here we also known as “we", "us" or "iFixitbd". We are an Apple devices repair service provider and online marketplace operating from Sector 9, Uttara, Dhaka – 1230 and these are the terms and conditions which will govern your access and use of iFixitbd along with its related sub-domains, sites, mobile app, services and tools (the "Site"). To use any services, you must first agree to our terms and conditions If you are not intend to follow our terms and conditions you should not use any of our services or products. You are automatically bound to follow our rules upon the use of our services. We can bring changes to our terms and conditions, privacy policy, return and refund policy without any prior notice.

This document explains how the agreement is made up and sets out some of the terms of that agreement.

 

  1. User Agreement

Where iFixitbd provides you with this option in the user interface of any Service; or by actually using the Services. In this scenario, you understand and agree that iFixitbd will regard your use of the services from that point forward as the terms' approval.

If (a) you are not of legal age to form a contractual contract with iFixitbd, or (b) you are a person barred from accessing the services under the laws of Bangladesh, you may not use the services may not accept the terms.

 

  1. Your passwords and account security:
  • You agree and accept that you are responsible for protecting the confidentiality of any account that you use for accessing our services.
  • You also accept that for all activities occurring on your account, you will be solely responsible.
  • You agree to notify iFixitbd immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your password or your account.

 

  1. Site content:

You acknowledge that the site contains information, data, software, photographs, graphics, videos, text, images, typefaces, sounds, and other material (collectively "content") that are protected by copyrights, trademarks, or other proprietary rights, and that these rights are valid and protected in all forms, media and technologies existing now or hereinafter developed.

  • All content is copyrighted as a collective work under Bangladesh. Copyright laws and we own a copyright in selecting, coordinating, arrangement, and enhancing such content.
  • On the website, maybe there can be some data wrong by mistake. We are trying to provide fully accurate data, but there can be a small mistake in data.
  • You may not modify, remove, delete, augment, add to, publish, transmit, participate in the transfer or sale of, create derivative works from, or in any way exploit any of the content, in whole or in part. If no specific restrictions are displayed, you may make copies of select portions of the content, provided that the copies are made only for your personal, informational and non-commercial use and that you do not alter or modify the content in any way, and maintain any notices contained in the content, such as all copyright notices, trademark legends, or other proprietary rights notices.
  • In addition to the foregoing, the use of any software content shall be governed by the software license agreement accompanying such software, if any.
  • Online pricing and offers valid for online customers only.
  1. Hacking/Data Breach

We have a professional team of IT experts, including cyber security experts. They are regularly trying to protect your privacy from our website/application and protecting our website/application from hacking and data breach with latest technologies. But even the top companies of the world are getting hacked. iFixitbd also can be hacked or down for a while. We will try to recover it as soon as possible. In this time, if any of yours performed actions causes any harm, data lost we are not liable for this. In the meantime, we are also not liable for any transaction happens.

  1. Trademarks:

iFixitbd is our trademarks and service mark. All other trademarks, product names, and company names and logos appearing on the site are their respective owners' property.

 

  1. Submissions:

We won’t take any responsibility if we receive any payment due to your negligence or false information. Moreover, we will not be able to provide you a refund for that. You may ask our help before action completed from our various channels of contact.

  1. Payment and billing:

You must select a payment method to pay us for any purchases you make from us. We are authorized to charge you by our designated payment method or by our billing agents.

All the payments online, such as cards or mobile banking, performs through a payment gateway. The gateway directly redirects you to the bank website through API. We don't store any confidential data from your payment method. We will not be responsible for any transaction fault and we are unable to provide you a refund.

You are responsible for all charges incurred under your account made by you or anyone who uses your account (including your children, family, or friends).

You must notify us about any billing problems or discrepancies within three days after they first appear on the statement you receive from your bank or payment company. In case you do not inform us about your payment related issues within three days. We will be unable to assist you with anything.

In the case of order cancellation, the mode of payment will be done by transferring through the payment gateway within 14 working days or more.  (i.e., we can't offer your payment in cash). The payment gateway charge will be deducted from that original amount. Gateway charge might vary depending on the payment method.

 

  1. Proof of identification:

iFixitbd, Reserves the right to inquire at the time of distribution for specified proof of identity. Failure to provide the same to either iFixitbd or any of its partners, which results in the cancellation of the order. The customer who made the purchase online would have to include his or her proof of identification in the case of any gift products.

 

  1. Shipping information:

Estimated time of delivery might vary 1 to 15 days from the date of purchased. If the products stock out it may take more than that. Shipping charges will be extra otherwise mentioned clearly. Dispatch of goods will be through reputed couriers. Most of the items are shipped within 24-72 working hours after the payment is cleared. Delivery of goods will be made only on weekdays and working days. No delivery during weekends, holidays, and after office hours. iFixitbd has the right to cancel the order at any circumstance. Shipping information will be provided on request only. Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable. All the shipping handled by the third-party courier companies such as RedX, Paperfly, Sundorbon, S.A Paribahan.

 

 

  1. Applicable terms for purchase battery & display:

If you purchase a display / battery from us at first, you need to do a diagnostic checkup of your device or confirm your device's actual issues. After that, we can send you the product. Moreover, if you want a warranty for the product at first, check our warranty policy, then you need to bring the display/battery with your device to our service center, or you need to send it to us through courier at your own cost and risk.

 

  1. Warranty:

Warranty is provided for some of our products. Before you claim for the warranty, you have to check your product is applicable for the warranty by reading our warranty policy. If it is applicable, we will be happy to provide you the warranty.  You have to come to our branches to receive the warranty.

Warranty policy

  • Need the valid proof of purchase including the same box of the original product
  • Product must be in stocked before you can receive warranty
  • If service needed for any product, time should be provided for service work. Service time might vary depending on product. It might take few days to 2 weeks.
  • We will try our best to provide the warranty as early as possible. But in some scenario,it might take maximum of 30 days to provide the warranty
  • Product must not be physcially damaged,broken
  • Warranty won’t be provided in case of accidental damages such as scratches, stains, and dents
  • Warranty will be void immediately if the product gets modified or serviced by anyone else other than ifixitBD
  • Warranty won’t be provided if the damage is caused due to improper handlings such as not following information materials or user guides

  1. Governing law and jurisdiction:

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed following the law of Bangladesh. Any legal discrepancy or disputes will be heard or proceed in the exclusive jurisdiction of the Bangladesh courts.

  1. Device Data lost

Your all data such as photo, messages, contacts can be lost from your device at the time of repair. If you agree with the terms and conditions and in any of the cases, if the data has lost, we won't be held responsible for any kind of data loss. You have to take own risk prior to the repair.

 

  1. Device Damaged During Repair

We will try our best to fix your devices but sometimes accidentally it might get worse we will not be responsible for this kind of uncertain issue.

Privacy policy

  1. What type of user information we will collect when anyone register to our website?

We only collect information when anyone order, signing up and repair device from us. The purpose of collecting information is better user experience. We don’t store any confidential data such as, credit card number, ID card, Passport or Driving license. We don’t also store user password, as we have password less login system. We store data such as name, email, address, phone number etc.
